A Day in the Life at Pup and Co. Bakery

A Day in the Life at Pup and Co. Bakery

Ever wonder what it’s like behind the scenes at Pup & Co. Bakery? Well, I’m excited to give you a peek into a typical day and show you just how much love and care goes into making the treats your dogs love. From baking to packaging, every step is carefully crafted to ensure only the best for your pets.

Early Morning: The Prep

My day usually starts early, especially if I'm getting ready for a big baking batch. First things first—gathering my ingredients. I always use high-quality, organic ingredients, like fresh fruits, natural peanut butter, and whole wheat flour. Whether I'm preparing my classic flavors or testing out something new, I take the time to measure everything accurately and make sure I have what I need for the day.

Once the ingredients are ready, I’ll spend a bit of time organizing my workspace to keep things efficient and clean. It’s all about setting up for success!

Mid-Morning: The Baking

Baking is definitely the heart of my day. After everything is prepped, I start mixing the ingredients and rolling out dough. The kitchen smells amazing when I get to that part! The treats go into the oven, and I always keep an eye on them to ensure they bake to the perfect crispness.

While I wait for the treats to bake, I use this time to do other tasks like checking in on orders, responding to customer messages, or planning for upcoming flavors or collaborations. It’s a mix of creative work and business behind the scenes!

Afternoon: Cooling and Packaging

Once the treats are out of the oven and have cooled, I get into the fun part: packaging! I carefully arrange each batch into bags and seal them with a lot of love. Each treat is made to order, so I make sure the packaging reflects the quality and care that went into creating it.

I also make sure every order is labeled properly and ready to go. I love knowing that someone’s dog will be enjoying a batch of treats soon, and I always feel a little excitement as I box everything up for shipment.

End of the Day: Wrap-Up

After the last batch has been packaged and shipped, I’ll tidy up the kitchen and do any final checks on inventory. Sometimes, I’ll brainstorm new flavors or designs for the future, always looking for ways to improve the customer experience or make the bakery even better.

By the end of the day, I feel proud of all that’s been accomplished, and I’m already looking forward to what tomorrow brings. Whether it’s baking more treats, planning something special for the community, or just enjoying a quiet evening with Charlotte, the bakery never really stops—it’s a passion I love.
